Data Strategy Manager, Lufthansa
Senior Manager at the Lufthansa Group. He drives strategic topics in the field of data and innovation to accelerate Lufthansa Group transformation towards a data-driven airline group that innovates at scale and pace. He is responsible for a group-wide and competitive data strategy, an expert in the field of data leadership and involves these leadership aspects as critical success factors into the big picture of Lufthansa Group’s data journey. Beside this, he leads activities to run an internal innovation lab network, which forsters fast innovation ideations and an experimental culture.
Initially, Christian lifted-off his career as development engineer in the space industry at Airbus Defence & Space and was responsible for the avionic of European’s launcher Ariane 5. Voluntarily, he engages as project manager for Lufthansa`s social responsibility project and builds up a township school (>1000 kids) in South Africa. Christian holds an Executive Master of Administration in Business and IT at the Technical University of Munich and University of St. Gallen, as well as a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering & Aerospace at the Technical University of Brunswick.
