"Sharing commercially sensitive data in an ecosystem"
Many organisations are hesitant to share commercially sensitive data. Royal FloraHolland (RFH) and its ecosystem partners implemented a Data Committee with a representation of each type of partner to ensure trust between partners and provides guiderails, as well as oversight on data sharing in the RFH ecosystems. The presentation will cover the following points:
- Context : explain RFH ecosystem including sharing of data between partners
- Problem : partners were hesitant to share commercially sensitive data in the ecosystem
- Solution : data committee to provide governance
- RFH journey (started in 2020) : increasing volumes and type of data are shared by an increasing number of partners and type of partners (recently the logistic partners became a member of the data committee)
- Generalisation : what should your organisation do to create value by facilitate data sharing of commercially sensitive data?
- Future : how will the data committee look like in 2030?
