Xavier Lagardère is the Lufthansa Group Chief Data Officer, leading the airline group´s transformation towards a Data-centric company. As a travel & transportation executive he holds board-level roles in travel startups such as Hopper, the #1 most downloaded travel app in North America. His previous roles include leading the Lufthansa Group´s airline retailing and payments unit; Groupon´s travel business in France as well as product development and R&D roles with tech giants Amadeus and HP. A French national, Xavier holds a MBA from INSEAD and a Master´s Degree in Computer Science the Grenoble National Superior School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics.
