As a leader of strategic initiatives for the Office of the CTO at Google Cloud in Zurich, he leverages his expertise in AI, Cloud, and Search. Before this, he was instrumental in establishing Google’s EMEA Office of the CTO and scaling the Warsaw engineering team to over 500 people.

Antonio’s career spans six countries, including leadership roles at Elsevier, Microsoft (Bing Search Site Leader), and Ask.com (CTO, Europe). He has also founded multiple companies, including Italy’s first search engine. He is also an angel investor.With 11 granted patents and 27 pending in search, smart energy, and AI, Antonio is a prolific co-inventor. He also shares his knowledge by authoring books on coding and machine learning that have been translated into several languages.
