Abstract:
Most organizations have moved past the question of whether AI matters and are now asking a harder one: why the investment in pilots and proofs of concept isn’t showing up in results. This session is a practitioner’s account of that shift inside a large international business, from early experimentation to running AI inside real processes. It looks at why isolated pilots rarely pay back, what changes when AI value is owned from the top while delivery is industrialized from the bottom, and why the operating model around a model matters more than the model itself. It is meant for leaders weighing where to place their next move, and how far to push it.
