Global Head of Diagnostics Data Office, Roche
Experienced Leader for Enterprise Architecture and Data Strategy, working for more than 20 years within two of the worlds largest healthcare companies, Novartis and Roche.
I stand for integrating multiple perspectives at the same time: (a) Centralised guidance and federated teams with empowered leadership allow optimising the enterprise as a whole and at the same time optimising individual initiatives where work gets done. (b) Data, process, and technology, are all critically important for value, efficiency, and innovation to flourish. (c) For data to create value, sharing for re-use is equally important as protection against mis-use.
For our increasingly digital society, I am convinced that trust about data will make or break customer relationships over time. My vision for how to gain and retain trust is that enterprises are fully transparent to their stakeholders about three points, at all times: This is what you agreed with us (by consent or contract) concerning data. This data from you we have access to. This is what we do with that data from you.
