This presentation will explore the development of core data products that centralize ABB’s reporting capabilities, with particular emphasis on the ESG data products constructed on the ABB’s data platform. This data platform facilitates ESG reporting namely ESRS compliance by enabling KPI creation and incorporating external data from our customers and suppliers

• Creating Common Data Products: We’ll discuss how ABB standardized data products across various business units, addressing challenges from different data structures and needs.
• Creating a Streamlined Data Architecture: We’ll highlight how ABB utilized Snowflake to unify and streamline data architecture, enabling efficient data integration including (external third-party data) and near real time reporting.
• Building the ESG Data Products: The centralization of data across ABB businesses and the creation of ESG Data Products in ABB’s data platform on Snowflake to support sustainability reporting.
• Supporting ESRS Requirements: We’ll outline the roadmap for developing KPIs to meet European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), including strategies for capturing external data from customers and suppliers.
• Data Governance and Quality: The presentation will touch on the governance frameworks and quality controls that ensure consistent and reliable data across the organization.
