Prof. Dr. Sonja Zillner leads strategic work on Trustworthy AI, AI Governance and AI Risk Management, focusing on responsible AI adoption, governance, regulatory readiness, and risk mitigation for industrial AI systems at Siemens AG. Her work bridges technical, legal, cybersecurity, and compliance perspectives, particularly in the context of Industrial AI products.  She also holds honorary professorships at the Technical University of Munich and the University of Queensland and is a member of the Bavarian AI Council.
